Rates vary by platform. Saatchi Art takes 40% commission on original art (you keep 60%). Artfinder charges 40% on its Premium plan or 45% on its Core plan, plus 20% VAT on that commission (reclaimable if you are VAT registered). Etsy charges a 6.5% transaction fee plus payment processing (4% + £0.20 for UK sellers), a small listing fee and a UK regulatory fee — roughly 12-16% all-in once VAT on fees is added.
